Artist Statement

Otherworldly nightscapes - painted with handheld lights.

While the full moon with its unique hue turns the scene into an eerie environment, the carefully applied light painting reveals some quite unexpected details and brings back some warmth.

By selectively illuminating parts with a handheld light source, the landscape transforms into a fascinating visual experience that will pull you in. 

The most amazing part of this technique is that it can’t be duplicated - to recreate the same look and feel of a light painting is almost impossible.
